Yin & Yang
Yin and Yang is a system that allows you to apply new powers to your equipment - gifts. Gifts come from Yin & Yang seals, which you obtain in the new Infernal Dungeon. A Yin gift triggers an effect in a specific situation, and a Yang gift with the same keyword enhances or changes that effect.
How to Unlock
- Reach Level 75 and complete the access mission for infernal dungeons.
- Obtain an admission ticket - combine 3 passes or Yohara admission tickets or craft it from 200 Infernal Slayer's Seals.
- Clear the Infernal Dungeon: Abyss of Greed within 30 minutes.
- After completing it, use the Summoning Staff and claim a Yin or Yang seal - store it immediately, because the next one will overwrite it.
- Apply the seals to your gear at the Taoist: Yin gifts to weapons or gloves, Yang gifts with the same keyword to other equipment parts.
- Open the harmony interface with the Z key, check the connections, and activate the gifts (Ctrl+Z).
How It Works
- Yin gifts are applied to weapons and gloves. They act as a trigger: when a specific situation occurs (e.g., HP drops below half), they activate an effect. Some Yin gifts also have their own effect.
- Yang gifts are applied to weapons, gloves, helmet, armor, and shoes. They do nothing on their own – they modify the effect of the Yin gift they are in harmony with.
- A Yin gift and a Yang gift with the same keyword connect automatically and are in harmony.
- When several gifts with the same effect are in harmony, only the strongest one takes effect. Duplicates do not stack, so do not waste slots on them.
- You cannot apply seals to an item bound with a Scroll of Binding.
Yin & Yang Window
You open it by talking to the Taoist. On the left, you place the item; in the middle, the seal; on the right, you see a preview of the result; and at the bottom, the cost. After selecting a seal, the game highlights items in your inventory and equipment window that already have a gift with a matching keyword. The window also features a compendium describing all gifts.
At the bottom is the seal storage – five slots by default. A repeatable quest from the Taoist grants +5 slots, and Item-Shop expansion coupons grant +10 slots. You can delete unneeded seals.
The most recently received seal is displayed separately. Store it or discard it: a new seal from the dungeon will irreversibly overwrite the previous one, and an uncollected seal disappears after 24 hours.
Harmony Interface and Activation
- You open it with a button in the equipment window or by pressing the Z key. Hovering over the button displays a tooltip with all equipped and linked gifts.
- You activate the gifts for a limited time using the button or the Ctrl+Z shortcut – just like alchemy.
- The duration is extended by a Temporal Stone, which is created by destroying an unneeded seal with a Seal Hammer (from the Taoist for 5kk Yang). One stone adds from 1 to 12 hours, and the total duration cannot exceed 24 hours.
Compendium
The game allows you to open a compendium interface that displays a description of every Yin and Yang rune available in the game. You can open it within the harmony interface by clicking the question mark icon in the top right corner.
Infernal Dungeon: Abyss of Greed
The first of the infernal dungeons – instanced, solo versions of existing dungeons with new mechanics and rewards.
Entry Requirements: Level 75, completed access mission, a matching ticket in the inventory, and no party. Monster levels scale to the character's level, and you have 30 minutes to complete it.
Admission Tickets
Tickets have five tiers. There are two crafting methods.
Combination – any 3 passes or Yohara tickets yield a Tier 1 ticket with a 70% chance. Similarly, 3 tickets of the same tier yield a ticket of the higher tier with a 70% chance. Tickets from combinations can receive a random dungeon modifier.
Direct Crafting – without a modifier:
| Ticket Tier | Cost |
|---|---|
| 1 | 3× any pass or 200× Infernal Slayer's Seal |
| 2 | 9× any pass |
| 3 | 27× any pass |
| 4 | 81× any pass |
| 5 | 243× any pass |
Tier 5 equals approximately 570 DC in passes from the Item-Shop, so the system is tailored for Yohara characters and equipment you do not plan to change anymore.

Rewards
Guaranteed on every run:
- 1× Yin or Yang seal
- 1× Seal Fragment (level 5 only)
- Experience and Yang
Chance-based: admission ticket for the exact completed level and materials for infernal costumes.
Ranking
The Taoist displays the ten fastest runs. Top players' equipment is visible only with their consent (disabled by default). Ranks 1–3 receive titles for 30, 14, and 7 days, and the ranking is regularly reset.
Trading Seals
Seals themselves cannot be traded directly. For this purpose, the Yin & Yang Bag is used: you place a seal inside, the bag is tradable, and the seal can be extracted later. A filled bag disappears after 30 days. Seal Fragments are tradable without a bag – you exchange 30 fragments for a random seal at the Taoist.
Seals
Seals have levels from 1 to 10 and belong to six families. Harmony operates within the same family. In the tables, the effect value is shown for levels 1–3, 4–6, 7–9, and 10.

Best Combinations
You have five slots, so the choice of family matters more than the level of a single seal. Below are sets recommended by players.
Physical Characters
Power Strike + Blood Fury – considered the strongest for PvE. Power Strike Yin for the weapon, Blood Fury Yin for the glove, and Yang gifts of both families for the helmet, armor, and shoes (number of targets, normal attack trigger chance, fury extension). Power Strike finishes off monsters and Metin stones, and Blood Fury triggers automatically against bosses that reflect damage – for example, Balathor or Aamon.
Full Mark of Curse with Binding – best for mass farming. Yin for the weapon, and Yang gifts: number of targets, binding, attack value against marked targets, and additionally poison or status effect removal. Bound monsters stop being knocked back, so they stick to your character and die in one spot. During events, moonlights, and auto-hunting, this makes a huge difference in speed.
Mark of Curse for damage + Blood Fury – for characters who already have the rest of their gear and want a pure damage bonus.
Mark of Curse + Resurrection – for auto-hunting: you revive with half HP and regeneration, without spamming potions. One Resurrection gift in the glove is enough, leaving four slots for the Mark.
Power Strike + Resurrection – a variant for those who do not have Blood Fury. Includes reviving in invisibility, preventing monsters from attacking immediately.
Magical Characters
Power Strike + Discipline – the strongest combo for PvE. Power Strike Yin for the weapon, Discipline Yin (SP reserve) for the glove, and both damage Yang gifts plus target count for the remaining slots. The mana reserve keeps you permanently below the 40%?Unconfirmed value – not verified in game yet. threshold, so the bonus works all the time – with both Yang gifts granting up to 16%?Unconfirmed value – not verified in game yet. more skill damage. Power Strike finishes off monsters after casting a skill, eliminating the need to repeat it.
Power Strike + Blood Fury – an alternative when you do not have a complete Discipline set. The damage reduction Yang gift further improves survivability.
Power Strike + Resurrection – a fallback option when you lack both Discipline and Blood Fury.
For PvE, a shaman almost always chooses Power Strike for the weapon, and for the glove: Discipline, then Blood Fury, and finally Resurrection.
For PvP
If you do not care about PvE, Ritual grants the broadest bonuses: damage against players, damage reduction from players, critical hit chance, block penetration, reduction of the opponent's elemental resistances, and maximum movement speed.
Infernal Costumes
Using materials from the dungeon, the Taoist crafts infernal weapon, armor, and helmet costumes. Each costs 15× Infernal Slayer's Seal, 5,000,000 Yang, and an Infernal Whetstone, Infernal Armor Plate, or Infernal Hide. A costume lasts for 12 hours and grants +5% strength against infernal monsters, and the full set grants an additional +15%.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I get higher seal levels?
Official notes do not describe this. According to player guides, the dungeon level decides: level 1 yields gifts from the lower range, level 5 – maximum.
Link to this answerDoes a Yang gift work on its own?
No. A Yang gift only modifies the effect of the Yin gift with the same keyword that it is in harmony with.
Link to this answerDoes the system work on Metin stones?
Only the Power Strike family. Mark of Curse, binding, and poison work exclusively on rank 1–4 monsters.
Link to this answerDoes the system work on bosses?
Blood Fury does, because its trigger is your HP. Power Strike and Mark of Curse do not.
Link to this answerDo two identical gifts stack?
No. When several gifts with the same effect are in harmony, only the strongest one counts.
Link to this answerCan I remove a gift from an item?
There is no such option. With the Seal Hammer, you only destroy a seal that has not been applied yet, receiving a Temporal Stone in return.
Link to this answerWhat happens to a seal if I do not collect it?
The most recently received seal disappears after 24 hours, and a new seal from the dungeon overwrites the previous one if you did not store it.
Link to this answerCan I sell a seal?
Yes – put it in a Yin & Yang Bag and trade the bag. A filled bag disappears after 30 days. Seal Fragments can also be traded.
Link to this answerHow much does it cost to apply a seal?
The cost is shown in the Taoist's window below the preview; notes for version 26.2 do not state the exact amount.
Link to this answerIs this system mandatory?
No. This is endgame content, tailored for Yohara characters and equipment you will no longer change.
