Metin2 Duel of the Seers: which card to play
In Duel of the Seers you and your opponent hold tarot cards from 0 to 8: even cards are black, odd cards are white. The higher card wins the round, but you only see the colour of the opponent’s card and the result. You earn Seer Coins equal to your points, plus the point difference if you win.
From the colours and results, the helper works out which cards your opponent could have left and computes exactly (over all possibilities) the card that earns the most coins on average.
FAQ
How does Duel of the Seers work?
Each player has 9 cards (0–8) and plays one per round. The higher card scores a point. The card colour (black even, white odd) reveals part of the opponent’s card.
How do I earn more Seer Coins?
Winning is not all that counts: the point margin matters too. The helper picks the card that maximises your average coins, not just your chance of winning the round.
Does the computer play randomly?
The helper assumes the opponent plays a random card from those it has left and that you take turns starting rounds.
How many Seer Coins can I win in one game?
At most 18: 9 points for winning all 9 rounds plus 9 for the point margin. With a draw or a loss you get as many coins as the points you scored, so every round you win still counts.
Are my games recorded?
Yes. We analyse every game played to improve the algorithms: we compare the suggestions with the actual results and look for mistakes. The record is anonymous: just the course of the game (cards entered, moves, result), with no account, login or personal data. This record stores nothing in your browser (no cookies) and does not slow the helper down. Separately, and only with your consent, we count visits with Google Analytics.
